Thursday, May 11, 2017 through Thursday, October 19, 2017. 6 pm - 7:30 pm. A program on Thursday evenings for active military personnel, veterans and their families. Participants do not need to have any horse knowledge; lessons are tailored to the needs and interests of the veterans.  Horse Power Healing Center -- Horses for Hope
Monday, May 8, 2017 through Friday, October 20, 2017. A program for children and adults who have been given a terminal medical diagnosis. The participants in "Horses for Hope" may visit the farm and meet the horses. If they are able, they can learn to ride a horse. There are no fees charged for the participants in this program. If an individual is unable to come to the farm, HPHC will bring the horses to visit hospitals, hospice centers and nursing homes. free. Try your hand at tracking animals, honing your fishing skills, taking the eco-explorer challenge, matching young critters with their parents, and crafting original nature art. Friday, July 28, 2017 through Sunday, July 30, 2017. Sat & Sun 10 am- 5 pm. The first Art & Chalk Festival, a juried arts exhibition sponsored by the Museum of Wisconsin Art in West Bend on July 29 - 30, 2017, will open with an Artist Reception on July 28. The event will feature sixty juried art vendors and a Chalk Art exhibition. The Museum of Wisconsin Art explores the art and culture of Wisconsin. Founded in 1961, it is one of the top museums of regional art in the United States, with almost 5,000 works of contemporary and historic art by more than 350 artists. $25 entry fee on Zapplication, $125 booth fee.  Alive in the Arts Gallery Exhibit
Friday, May 12, 2017 through Friday, August 4, 2017. Tues-Fr. 10-4, Sat-Sun 12-3. Wisconsin is rich with talented fine artists. For the 22nd consecutive year The Plymouth Arts Center and Gallery 110 North have announced the opening of Alive in the Arts, a juried exhibition. This event regularly attracts entries from all over the state. The works of 53 Wisconsin artists were selected by the Juror for this show. These programs have a low teacher-camper ratio for the best nature learning experience. This course examines the ideologies that promised utopias and total solutions to social problems, and related the terrible human toll of attempts to realize these blueprints.  Learn to Keep Bees - Beginning Beekeeping

In Church Basement Ladies we meet the pastor, three cooks and one daughter who run the kitchen and care for the congregation.
