Saturday, September 1, 2018. 1:00 pm- 4:00 pm. How do fish swim? How do they breathe under water? How do they eat? Come find the answers to these questions and much more as we wade through the world of Wisconsin fishes. Everyone is invited to drop in for a few minutes or more than an hour for some nature fun.  Saturday Morning Secret Finders
Saturday, September 1, 2018. 10:00 am- 11:00 am. Calling all youth to discover secrets of nature by participating in the Wisconsin Explorers program! The program involves completing a required number of engaging nature activities in one of three age appropriate books (ages 3-5, ages 6-8, and ages 9+) to earn a very cool patch. Get help from a naturalist who will work with youth on activities from one of the first four topic areas of the books. Free. Sunday, September 2, 2018. 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Do you like watching birds and butterflies? Are you interested in attracting more wildlife to your yard, or in helping wild animal populations? Stop by the Naturalist Booth to learn how easy it is to attract more wildlife to your yard. Get information on how your yard can become "Certified Wildlife Habitat". It is a great family activity! Thursday, September 13, 2018. 7:00 pm- 8:30pm. Many wild mushrooms are edible, others are deadly poisonous, and still others are unique curiosities of the fungus world. Join Alan D. Parker, PhD, Professor Emeritus at UW-Waukesha, as he shares his vast knowledge and beautiful images of Wisconsin fungi. This program is most appropriate for people over the age of 10 years. Free.  Sheboygan Beach Clean Up!
Saturday, September 15, 2018. 9am-11am. Help clean Lake Michigan beaches by joining local neighborhood groups leading the clean ups at three sites along the Sheboygan Lakeshore on September 15. Friends of North Point, Friends of Peace Park Sheboygan, and the King Park Neighborhood Association are all teaming up to make a difference in our community, along with support from the Sheboygan River Basin Partnership and Lakeshore Natural Resource Partnership.
