 Sensory Friendly Saturday
Saturday, April 6, 2019. 9am to 11am. The History Center is offering special hours on April 6, 2019 for those with sensory sensitivities and cognitive needs that make touring during regular museum times and circumstances difficult. In order to keep to the needs of our families in our space, this event is limited to 15 families. Please pre-register to receive a $17 family rate available only for this event. The fee covers private tours of the Old Courthouse and Jail Museums for up to two adults and their dependent children. $17/Family (2 adults and children under 16yrs) or free with a family membership. Saturday, May 4, 2019 through Sunday, May 5, 2019. Intricate collages made entirely from deconstructed U.S. dollars are the currency of Mark Wagner's art. Mark, whose work is included in Cut Up/Cut Out, slices thousands of bills to create artwork that pointedly and playfully explores the intersection of wealth, power, value, and American Identity. Mark was born and raised in Marathon County. During the residency, he will lead a collaging workshop, public program, and gallery walk. Always free admission. Free.
