Saturday, November 3, 2018. 1 pm. Take a naturalist-guided tour of Carolyn's Caverns. Tour includes biology and geology of caves and opportunities for exploring. The cave is accessed by ladders. Temperatures are cool. Bring flashlight, expect to get dirty. Minimum age 5 years old. Minors must be accompanied by supervising adult. Tour size limited; please make reservation. $8 per person.  Hunter Sight-in Day
Saturday, November 3, 2018. 8:00 am - 3:30 pm. Everyone is invited to Southern Lakes Church in Elkhorn to sight in their firearms for the upcoming deer season. The use of the shooting range, shooting rests, spotting scopes, safety glasses, ear plugs and targets are all free, as are bore sighting, snacks and a hot lunch! Just bring your firearms and ammunition and your appetite. The church is located 2 miles north of Elkhorn (- mile north of Abell's Corners) on US Hwy 12. Free.
