 Crossroads Trail Run/Walk 2k, 5k, 10k
Saturday, June 20, 2020. 8 am. The Crossroads trail run takes place on a 200-acre preserve. This chip-timed event is for all ages and levels of runners/walkers,& a family event. Every participant receives a T-shirt, a Cedar tree from Evergreen Nursery at the finish. Post Runis ice cream, cherries & baked granola. Local awards for the 5K/10k include a ceramic bowl, maple syrup, golden honey, and locally crafted soap. $25, $10- 14 years , Before May 12. 7 & 70 are free.  Run for the Fallen 2020
Saturday, September 12, 2020. 8:30 am. September 12th, 2020 - Join the Kronenwetter Fire Department as we honor the memory of the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11th, 2001. Sign up for the 6th annual Run for the Fallen to remember those who gave it all and pay tribute to those who continue to serve our communities today. This family-friendly event includes a 5K run/walk, 10K Run, 1 Mile Kid's Run and 1 Mile Firefighter Challenge. $25 - $40. Towering Pines Park, 2355 Tower Road, Kronenwetter, Marathon County.  Discover Whitewater Series
Sunday, September 20, 2020. 7:30 am. The Discover Whitewater Series, a Half Marathon, 5K, and Fit Kid Shuffle (Kid's Run) is held annually in Whitewater, Wisconsin every September. The race promotes the City of Whitewater and highlights its greatest features, along with encouraging a healthy lifestyle for people of all ages.In addition to a challenging course and a well-organized event, the Discover Whitewater Series offers exclusive perks to all those involved. Monday, June 15, 2201. 10am - 3pm. Whataview Farm, the fiber studio and perennial gardens, is open to the public. Free weaving and spinning demonstrations all day. Stroll the gardens and visit the mini donkeys. Shop the studio for hand-woven rugs and runners, handspun yarns, felt clogs and hats, pure maple syrup and potted perennials.
